Sharks Announce 2009 Clear Day Roster - Worcester Sharks official website (3-12)
What is the Clear Day Roster ?
According to AHL by-laws, only those players listed on a team’s Clear Day roster are eligible to compete
in the remainder of the 2008-09 AHL regular season and in the 2009 Calder Cup Playoffs,
unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension.
According to theahl.com - Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts,
only after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.
There are 7 Players in residence that can play in emergency situations,
They are:
Tim Branham - He was released from PTO (3-13), Derek McIntyre goaltender released from PTO (3-13),
Mike Wilson reassigned to Phoenix (3-17) ,Trent Campbell,Dan DaSilva,P.J. Fenton,Mike Morris.

"Think your 401(k) had a bad month? Sharks rookie Matt Jones broke his jaw in a game here on Oct. 25,
then last night was in the elevator when the power went out. Jones wound up stuck there for about 20 minutes
before he finally was able to squeeze out. Jones was able to pry the door open and put his foot in it
so he got some air and was no worse for wear after finally escaping".
