Sharkspage.com (4-18) / McLaren Takes the high road - Telegram and Gazette (4-18)
Game 3 Round 1 of the playoffs Sharks vs Devils - Frazer patted Stephen Gionta on the head.
According to Darryl Hunt from Sharkspage.com this is what happened -
"In a moment of unintentional comedy, Stephen Gionta got in the face of Frazer McLaren about
half way through the second period. Well, maybe more correctly, Gionta (5'7" 185#) got into the
midchest region of McLaren (6'4" #235). After a few moments of listing to Gionta, McLaren patted
the diminutive forward on the top of the head and skated away laughing."
2/06/10 - Darryl Hunt: Sexsmith, WorSharks Shutout Devils, 3-0 - Sharkspage.com (2-6)
According to Darryl Hunt "After the game as Dennis McCauley was being interviewed by Kevin Shea of WCTR, Frazer McLaren snuck up behind the pair and stuffed a towel full of shaving cream into the face of his teammate. McCauley took it in stride, wondering aloud when he started playing for the New York Yankees".
1/27/10 - Darryl Hunt: Stalock, WorSharks Defeat Manitoba 3-1 Sharkspage.com
According to Darryl "With Manitoba's visit, Wednesday night was the first time in the Sharks era in Worcester that "O, Canada" was needed. As it was late in the IceCats' term, DCU Center usher Dick Saseville sang the Canadian national anthem. Saseville's usual rendition is entirely in French, but with Manitoba being in the English speaking portion of Canada Saseville went with the duel language version. "
